Nothing much is happening at the present time due to the Coronavirus emergency and the consequent postponement of the Examination In Public (EIP) of the published Minerals Local Plan, which was originally scheduled for the week commencing 5th May 2020.

However, in the meantime, we continue to monitor Worcestershire County Council’s Planning website, in case anyone tries to slip in a planning application during the period of the emergency, and before the EIP eventually takes place, but as of today, no such application has yet been submitted.

It is important, however, that we all remain vigilant and report any new activity by Tarmac and / or their agents, Heaton Planning, or indeed any other minerals extraction company, relating to any of the sites adjacent to our villages.
